The LDS Church or Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints (better known as Mormon Church) is
more than just a part of my life and who I am. In my home growing up
I was taught of
The Book of Mormon,
Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, the
Angel Moroni, and a myriad of other subjects unique to this faith.
But most importantly, I was taught of Jesus Christ and his role in my
life through teachings in both the Bible and the Book of Mormon.
"The Church is a place where
imperfect people gather to provide encouragement, support,
and service to each other as we press on in our journey to
return to our Heavenly Father."
Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

the Holy Ghost.
'And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things."
He was the Great Jehovah of the Old Testament, the

was not any thing made that was made” (John 1:3).

Temples are houses of the Lord, the most sacred structures on the earth.
Anciently, the Lord directed Solomon to build a temple (1 Chronicles 28:1–6). After Jesus Christ restored His Church through Joseph Smith, He again directed that temples be built.
In temples, Church members participate in ordinances designed to unite their families together forever and help them return to God.
