The scattering of Israel

The Lord scattered and afflicted the twelve tribes of Israel because of their unrighteousness and rebellion. However, the Lord also used this scattering of his chosen people among the nations of the world to bless those nations.

I will scatter you among the heathen.

(Leviticus 26: 33) And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

The Lord shall scatter thee among all people

(Deuteronomy 28:64) And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.

I have other sheep which are not of this fold

(John 10: 16) And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
