Street sign for Sinking Creek Rd.

When I left Pembroke, Virginia, in 1988 the only street signs had numbers on the and the mail boxes had RT. 1 box such and such.  We had learned through word of mouth that this road we had traveled day in and day out was Sinking Creek Rd.  On my return visit I see that this has become the official name for the road.
